Joe E. Tata, the actor best known for playing Nat Busicchio, the owner of the Peach Pit Diner Beverly Hills, 90210 has died He was 86 years old.
Tata’s daughter Kelly confirmed the news on a GoFundMe page she started last October to raise funds as the actor deals with his declining health.
“I am deeply saddened to report that my father, Joe E. Tata, passed away peacefully last night, August 24, 2022,” she wrote. “My father and I are forever grateful for the love and support of family, friends and fans. I am especially grateful that Joanna Konjevod took care of my father in his last years and allowed me to be there to hold his hand in his final moments.”
Kelly previously shared that her father was officially diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2018, and on Thursday’s GoFundMe update, she wrote, “Any remaining funds from this campaign will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.”
“Please keep me in your prayers as I grieve the loss of my best friend,” she pleaded, adding, “All my love, Kelly Catherine.”
Ex 90210 Costar Ian Ziering posted on Instagram about Tata’s death earlier on Thursday.
In a touching tribute, Ziering mentioned how Tata’s death came after the cast and crew recently lost two of their other members. 90210 the family
“In the last few months we’ve lost Jessica Klein, one of them 90210The most prolific writer and creator of, Dennis [Dowse] Who played Mrs Teasley and now I am very sad to say that Joe E Tata has passed away,” he wrote alongside two photos of Tata.

As fans know, Tata played the role of Nate Busicchio Beverly Hills, 90210 For the entire run from 1990 to 2000. He later reprized his role in the 2008 CW spin-off 90210.
The Bronx-born actor is also known for his roles in the 1966 television series, Batman And Time tunnel, according to his IMDb page. His other credits include playing Private Nedic on No time for Sgt 1964–1965) and 1970s detective drama series The Rockford Files.
His final television credit came in 2014 when he played Principal Frost on ABC Family. Mystery Girls.
