Next, next Planet of the Apes The film is coming into focus with 20th Century Studios confirming the cast for the new title Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The film from director Wes Ball stars Owen Teague and newly announced cast members Freya Allen and Peter Macon. It is slated to release in 2024.

Planet of the Apes, based on the novel by Pierre Bouleh, launched as a film in 1968 starring Charlton Heston, spawned four sequels and two TV series, the films grossed. Planet of the Kingdom of the Apes Production will begin next month.
