According to Sony, the current free trial period for PlayStation Plus will end this coming week.
While the PS5 and PS4 game catalogue that Sony makes available for free to customers is likely where PS Plus has most prominently become associated,
Playing a variety of multiplayer games on a PlayStation system still requires the platform.
Fortunately, if you're someone who isn't a PS Plus member yet, you can start using the service in the coming days.
PlayStation has announced that PS Plus will be free from August 27 to August 28 for PS5 and PS4 subscribers.
This means that any PlayStation games with multiplayer that require a PS Plus subscription to play will no longer exclude players without a membership.
It's not a major surprise that Sony is offering this promotion once more as it typically does it several times a year.
