Robyn Griggs, best known for her appearance on the soap opera "Another World" and "One Life To Live," died at 49.

The sad news was shared Saturday afternoon on the star's official Facebook page.

"Hello everyone, with a heavy heart, I am sorry to announce the passing of Robin,"

However, she is no longer in pain and would like us to remember that as well as the good memories.

I'll never forget how open she was to telling her story and how accepting she was of my assistance in telling it.

She wanted to help people while also spreading the word about her story. It was an honor for me to do so.

RIP my friend, I love you and smile when I think of you.

The account also confirms that on Aug. 11 — just two days before her passing — the actress moved into hospice care.

She has fought with courage, strength, and grace that is nothing short of inspiring. Please keep Robyn and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.

Griggs appeared in six episodes of "One Life to Live" in 1991. She went on to play Maggie Cory on "Another World" for two years.

She later appeared in films such as "Severe Injuries" in 2003 and "Hellweek" in 2010.
